Wilf has twenty years’ experience in the private equity and investment banking industries. At Acanthus, Wilf advises general partners, limited partners and financial institutions from the UK, US, Continental Europe and Asia in fund inception, structuring, placement, strategy, investor relations and secondary sales.

He is fluent in English, French, Italian and Spanish. Prior to joining Acanthus, Wilf advised on numerous private equity investments in the technology space across Europe and the US at Jefferies and LongAcre Partners.

Sebastian joined Acanthus in 2019 and supports Acanthus’ clients in their primary fundraising processes and GP-led secondary transactions. His focus is on providing strategic advice, delivering investment grade documentation and managing fundraising processes, as well as relationship development and distribution efforts with limited partners in Europe and North America.

Sebastian has prior experience at EQT, where he worked in the Fund Formation and Project Management team in Stockholm, and at Lazard where he began his career in the Investment Banking division in London. Sebastian holds a Master of Arts in Economics from Pembroke College, University of Cambridge

Jamie joined Acanthus in 2020 and focuses on fundraising and GP-led secondary transactions for Acanthus’ clients, delivering strategic advice, managing fundraising processes and developing relationships with financial institutions globally.

Prior to joining Acanthus, Jamie spent four years at Campbell Lutyens in London where he worked in the fund placement team and focused specifically on advising global infrastructure managers across the firms activities.

Boris Etcheberry

Boris joined Acanthus in 2020 and supports Acanthus’ clients in their primary fundraising processes and GP-led secondary transactions with a focus on providing strategic advice, process management and execution, investment grade documentation delivery as well as origination, development and distribution efforts with limited partners and institutional investors across the UK, Continental Europe, and North America.

Boris joined Acanthus from the Investment Banking division of William Blair where he advised on mid-market private equity investments across the US and Europe. He previously trained at BNP Paribas in Credit Structuring and Credit Agricole in Investment Banking.

Prior to joining Acanthus, Thumi advised on numerous private equity fundraises across Europe at Rede Partners and Campbell Lutyens.

Diego Tagliazucchi

Prior to joining Acanthus, Diego spent two years at Athos Partners in Monaco, where he focused on primary fundraising activities including project management, drafting investment grade documentation and developing relationships with institutional LPs in Europe and US. He began his career in the Capital Markets team of Deloitte in Milan. Diego holds a Masters Degree in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University.

Prior to joining Acanthus, Brandon worked in the primaries team at LGT Capital Partners covering European middle-market GPs, and at Adams Street Partners where he worked in the co-investments team. He holds a BSc from the University of Bristol.

Paul Chappell

Paul joined Acanthus in 2020 and brings over 14 years’ of combined private equity and financial markets experience, primarily in an intermediary capacity.

Paul founded and leads our Secondaries division, where we facilitate tailored liquidity solutions on behalf of GPs and LPs alike and is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and executing transactions alongside the wider team. He prides himself on his process led approach and strong network of LP relationships, often unearthing pockets of capital that may otherwise be overlooked.

Prior to joining Acanthus, Paul spearheaded the PE desk at TP ICAP Group Plc and worked as a Placement Agent at Quest Fund Placement, originally commencing his career in 2009 in asset management, post graduating from Newcastle University.

Zoe Walsh
